This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get hands on in the day-to-day management accounting, whilst playing a key role in developing systems, making process improvements and growing the finance function to support the business.
Responsibilities:
As a Management Accountant you will…
•Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and KPI dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary to support decision-making.
•Collaborate with department heads to support budgeting, forecasting, cost control initiatives, and drive improvements in job profitability reporting.
•Support the Finance Director with year-end accounts preparation
•Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations and driving continuous improvements in cost allocation and reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
As a Management Accountant you will need…
•5+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role
•Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (SAP, or similar)
•Ideally fully or part ACCA/CIMA qualified
