Rutherford Briant Executive are exclusively recruiting a newly created Operations Manager role for a fast-growing business based in South Essex.
Our client has grown rapidly over the last couple of years with group revenue of £50m+ and nearly 500 employees.
The role of Operations Manager will report to the Group Operations Director and act as their number two. The role will oversee and manage various areas of the business including health and safety, quality of customer service, recruitment, workforce engagement, contract management, client negotiations and tender management.
This is an office-based role in a fast paced, dynamic and collaborative environment where you will need to strike a balance of working closely with various business divisions in addition to take the initiative and working autonomously when needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong technical background within facilities management, ideally from a fire safety environment.
- Ability to manage a broad range of tasks with a focus on delivering results in a timely manner.
- The ability to deal at all levels from Board level to field-based Engineers.
- Someone who has designed and implemented a range of operational efficiencies.
- Client facing exposure ideally from social housing and councils.
- Engineering background either from qualifications or from “being on the tools” in the past
