Jardine Motors Group approached Rutherford Briant in 2015, wanting to recruit for a Group Tax Manager. Previous to engaging ourselves, Jardine Motors Group had previously used a national specialist. However they had been disappointed by the lack of local market knowledge, relevance and coverage in the local area. Taking the brief on an exclusive basis we mapped out the market and began a direct/headhunt approach. Due to the seniority of the role this focused on both local and national searches. Within a set period of time we were able to present a strong shortlist from which interviews were arranged. This resulted in the appointment of a Group Tax Manager who has since joined and added value across the business as well as saving the company a significant amount in Tax liabilities.

Rutherford Briant have since been instrumental in introducing talent to Jardine Motors both in central services as well as several cost centres across their geographic across a range of specialist skills.

“Iain has always approached each campaign for us with professionalism and transparency. He has been insightful in terms of the market and has always delivered strong and relevant shortlists. When we have had challenges in the process Iain has always presented solutions and I always feel Iain has our interests as his priority. Iain has placed many talented candidates with us which has added value to our Finance team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Iain or turning to him for market information or future recruitment requirements.” – John Marazzi, Group Financial Controller.
