As the Shipping Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing and developing relationships with freight partners, whilst reporting into the Operations Director. You will utlise your experience gained from working within freight forwarding. You will use your understanding of multiple shipping lines to ensure customers receive their goods in the quickest and most effective way. Customer service will be at the heart of everything you do in a business that promotes a positive culture.

- To visit and build relationships with freight partners to enhance the customer experience - reducing delays and improving service levels.
- Provide monthly data analysis of key freight forwarder performance in line with agreed delivery KPI’s and highlight concerns, traits, and methods of further improving service.
- To deal with all export escalations relating to warehouse and freight forwarders
- Establish key communication channels internally and externally to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled within timescales and that any changes to freight forwarding timelines are communicated effectively and efficiently.
