I am working with a FTSE 100 partner who are looking to add a Technical Product Owner to their change team.
As the Technical Product Owner you will be a key member of the change team, being responsible for the scope of what is delivered in the data value stream. You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills as you are a key interface between tech and the business.
You will work closely with the value stream sponsor to craft a strategic roadmap based on the business strategy, managing and prioritising the backlog to deliver inline with the strategy and roadmap.
Your day to day will include but not be limited to;
- Evangilising the importance of the data platform, engaging with other value streams and stakeholders to insure they consider the data in their everyday work
- Attend stand-ups and other scrum meetings helping to resolve questions and reaffirm priorities
- Triaging new requests within the Data Value Streams
- Manage the backlog and constantly manage the prioritisation of the backlog
- Working with the technical teams to review, test and approve the user stories
- Work closely with various Data Stakholders including Architecture and Insights to support the implementation of data platforms.
- Evolve the roadmap based on customer and business feedback
To be successful in your application for this role you will;
- Have a strong understanding and appreciation for the data technology landscape, the value of data and the opportunity data presents to deliver a competitive advantage.
- Ideally be a certified Product Owner and very accomplished in Agile Methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Experience as a Product Owner, ideally in a regulated industry
