A Top 100 Accountancy Firm in Oxford that is going through a period of growth, having made 2 acquisitions over the last 2 months and with more in the pipeline. They are now looking for a HR Advisor to join their growing department, offering a salary of £28,000 - £38,000 depending upon experience.

This HR Advisor is a strategic role within the business as they will be there to support the planned growth of the Firm and as a growing company, there are plenty of opportunities for development and quick progression.

The HR Advisor will sit within the HR team based in Oxford, but as the team grows they anticipate that a HR Advisor will sit within each Regional Hub.

The Firm operates with both hybrid working and flexible working options, so you are able to flex your hours on different days to suit your lifestyle and you will be reporting into the Head of HR. The types of projects you will be working on will include the smooth onboarding of all future acquisition employees and the cultural integration of acquisitions ensuring that their values continue to underpin their culture as they expand.
HR Advisor responsibilities include:
  • Provide advice and support on employee relations matters (including absence, policies and performance) in line with company policy and best practice
  • Lead/support the Head of HR on employee relations cases
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees
  • Coordinate training and development activities
  • Provide admin support across the whole employee lifecycle
  • Become our expert on PeopleHR, our online employee portal
  • Play a key role in implementing HR projects such as wellbeing, diversity & inclusion
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our employee proposition, HR policies and processes in line with legislative changes and best practice
  • Produce reports on HR metrics
  • Create monthly payroll change reports
  • Assist with recruitment, providing overflow assistance to the Internal Recruiter, if required

Ideally you will have 3-4 years experience in a similar HR Advisor role and be CIPD Level 3 qualified.
