As the Senior Manager of the Technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our audit, accounts and tax teams, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards, and managing the quality control processes. Day to day, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing expert technical advice to our audit and assurance teams on complex accounting and auditing issues
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest accounting and auditing standards and regulations in mind
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations and communicating these changes to our teams
- Developing and delivering new training programs for our teams to enhance their technical skills
- Identifying new software and opportunities that will allow the firm to provide a better service and build better relationships with their clients
You'll need to have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, ACA, with roughly 10 years of experience in audit and assurance, with an ability to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations, including IFRS and UK GAAP - specifically FRS102
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate your ideas to key stakeholders and partners
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Salary of £85,000
