Looking for a role to develop relationships external from the finance department along with the chance to manage and develop a small team? A high-growth business in Southend, Essex are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead month-end and gain exposure to various process improvements.

The role would suit someone who is ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience and is looking to work within a friendly environment.
What you will do:

Maintaining the company’s financial and operational integrity across all trading entities while leading month-end and providing support to the team

Working closely with all departments providing detailed anlaysis on costs, profits and revenue

Lead cashflow analysis ensuring standards are being met

Provide accurate information surrounding all key financial data, transactions and payments

Oversight and assistance in preparation of timely and accurate consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, fixed assets and detailed commentary/analysis

Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, regularly reviewing, renegotiating our fees and developing further

Provide support with the year-end, working closely with auditos and preparing accurate statutory accounts for entities based both in the UK and overseas

Assisting Finance Director with preparation of budgets/forecasts
