Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders to enable them to provide challenge, influence outcomes and develop actions to drive business understanding forwards
- Build and develop annual plans/budgets and monthly forecasts and ensure alignment with overall strategy
- Highlighting risks and opportunities and activities to mitigate and maximize these
- Collaborate with the Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate reporting of costs, providing insight into subjective operational areas
- Lead the reporting and understanding of the ongoing financial performance of the business including analysis of current financial trends and forecasts
- Develop and prepare financial and commercial presentations/updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Work in close partnership with the business to provide end-to-end strategic and operational support for financial activities and performance
- Provide valuable insight and analysis to support decision making as well as challenging the commercial thinking of the business to maximise ongoing profits through clear revenue and cost management
- Challenge and improve finance processes to better support the business and drive efficiencies
- Support the development and implementation of finance system changes and improvements
