What you will do:
- Work with a wide range of clients from a variety of industries.
- Bookkeeping and data processing for clients
- Maintain accounting records.
- Purchase/sales ledger management.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Keep in contact with clients to gain information required.
- Visit clients to liaise directly with the bookkeeping.
- Prepare management accounts.
- Meet deadlines and deal with any queries.
- Continue to develop bookkeeping skills with ongoing training and supervision.
What you will need:
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Confident IT user and experience using Xero, Safe and Microsoft Excel is preferable.
- Demonstrate a “can do” approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills
