How will I get paid?

Rutherford Briant make payment to our temporary workers a week in arrears. You will be paid on the Friday after the week worked on the proviso that your timesheet was submitted and authorised by 11am on the Monday. You can see a copy of the payment schedule here.

How do I submit my timesheet?

We have an online timesheet portal called Intime, where you can enter your hours on a weekly basis and submit for your manager to approve. Timesheets must be submitted and approved by 11am the Monday after week worked. Login’s will be sent to you ahead of you needing to submit your first timesheet.

What is the holiday pay policy?

Rutherford Briant offer our temporary workers a holiday entitlement of 20 days plus 8 days bank holiday equating to 28 days annual leave over the year. Our annual leave year runs from January December.

Any holiday unused at the end of the holiday year will be paid to you in one lump sum alongside your usual pay. Your holiday quota will then re-set.

Any outstanding holiday pay not taken during the course of your assignment will be paid to you in your final payslip. You can see a copy of the holiday process here.

What is the sick pay policy?

We pay statutory sick pay, for the purposes of the scheme you qualify for SSP on the 4th day of any period of absence.

What is AWR and Auto-Enrolment?

The AWR legislation ensures that any temporary worker who is working for a company after 12 weeks in the same job role, will have the same working conditions to that of a permanent employee in the same job. At this point you will be Auto Enrolled into the NEST pension scheme. Further details will be sent to you at that point.

A further explanation of AWR and Auto Enrolment can be found here.

How do I access my payslip?

Your payslip will be emailed to you, but you can also access them through the Intime portal where you submit timesheets.

I have a query with my pay, what do I do?

Depending on the query, we may be able to assist you directly. Please call us on 01371 832 922 or email info@rutherfordbriant.com

I think my tax code is incorrect, what should I do?

Unfortunately, tax code queries aren’t something that we have control over. HMRC send us notifications of what tax code to apply so we are unable to tell you why you are on that tax code or why you have been taxed the amount. Anything tax related you have to speak to HMRC directly. You can contact them on Income Tax Helpline 0300 200 3300.

I’ve finished my assignment, what happens now?

Once your finish your assignment we will notify our payrollers and pay you any outstanding holiday as well as issue your P45 with your final payslip. We would suggest downloading these from the portal for future reference.
