A reputable Top 60 accountancy firm are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager seeking to progress their Corporate Tax career.

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will use your technical expertise and communication skills to provide expert tax support and advice to clients, partners, and colleagues.

In this role, you will oversee junior members of the Tax team, using your interpersonal skills and team player attitude to assist in their development.

Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include reviewing tax compliance, providing expert tax advice to clients, managing and mentoring junior tax professionals, conducting research, and collaborating with internal teams.

You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate tax returns and computations, offering tailored tax planning strategies, and mitigating tax risks.

Effective communication, leadership, and continuous professional development are key to success in this role. By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to the organisation's overall tax compliance, planning, and advisory services, supporting clients' financial success.

 
  • Review tax returns, computations, and monthly tasks prepared by junior staff, providing feedback.
  • Ensure compliance cycle runs smoothly, addressing any issues.
  • Support junior staff based overseas.
  • Build relationships with internal partners, staff, and external clients.
  • Manage partner and key staff expectations, completing work within timelines.
  • Provide tax advice and technical support.
  • Handle HMRC enquiries.
  • Comply with practice management activities.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through learning and CPD requirements.
