What you will do:
- Own flow charts and process narratives relating to business processes and Controls.
- Identify key risks to the business, and Internal Controls set to mitigate them, along with accurate and timely risk assessments.
- Perform, and lead on, audit testing and fieldwork to evaluate Control effectiveness.
- Lead on various audit themes from scoping to fieldwork to reporting stages.
- Prepare audit reports that are clear, concise and consultative, with an ability to coach junior members of the team on these when needed.
- Undertake Follow-Up reviews on agreed action points, providing assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee that prior agreed actions are implemented.
What you will need:
- Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CMIIA etc.)
- Experience working within the Insurance sector, either within General Insurance, or the Lloyds markets
- Ability to analyse financial and operational controls.
- Knowledge of Risk Management
