As an Accounts Manager you will:
- Assume overall responsibility for clients’ assignments.
- Deliver accounts to partner for discussion with clients, free of technical error and with only major questions outstanding.
- Ensure all budgets and deadlines are met.
- Take full responsibility for WIP control and billing.
- Assist in the management of the overall team on a day-to-day basis.
- Act as a major point of contact within the firm for client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients.
- Provision of general tax advice to clients.
- Expected to write professional letters and reports.
- Develop and retain/motivate junior members of staff.
- Monitor and improve team's work to ensure consistent high standards.
- Keep up to date with all technical developments to ensure continued excellent services with the client.
As an Accounts Manager you will need:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (preferably with 3 years+ experience post qualification).
- Proven client relationship skills.
- Broad tax and accounts knowledge.
- Proficient with Microsoft.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting packages (Xero and Sage).
- Experience of managing client assignments.
