Are you an R&D Tax professional, looking for a role within an exciting Top 40 firm in London with great growth potential?

A highly reputable firm in London, with recently refurbished offices are looking to bring an R&D Tax Manager into their function, in a role with lots of exposure to senior leadership and really strong growth plans both for the service line and for your own career.

You will get involved in a broad range of R&D Tax areas, looking across multiple sectors with an ability to specialise in one area should you wish. The clients the firm work with are generally seen as Top 4 calibre, and complex Tax work often undertaken by the specialists, but with the culture offered by a smaller firm and a clear route of progression.

Responsibilities
As an R&D Tax Manager, you will:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing their R&D claims, both directly and through the management of juniors
  • Working with internal team members to deliver training sessions on the R&D incentives available
  • Preparing and reviewing submissions on R&D claims to relevant bodies such as HMRC etc.
  • Liaising with the likes of HMRC around R&D Tax claims relating to queries they may have regarding the claims
  • Identifying new client opportunities, working with the senior leadership to develop those leads into new business

Requirements
As an R&D Tax Manager, you will need:
  • Prior experience preparing R&D Tax claims submissions
  • Experience reviewing R&D claims of junior members of the team
  • Experience liaising with regulatory bodies such as HMRC on R&D claims
  • Ability to deliver internal training sessions within the direct team and wider business on R&D Tax matters
