I am working exclusively with a dynamic and rapidly growing FMCG and hospitality brand known for its delectable offerings and vibrant markets. I am looking for a Head of Retail, an enthusiastic and experienced professional to lead the teams and play a pivotal role in their journey to redefine industry standards, refresh the brand, while driving revenue and profitability.
As the Head of Retail, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for overseeing all retail operations and teams, including markets and pop-up events across London.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Securing new sites and talent to support our expansion.
- Strategically driving revenue and improving profitability.
- Ownership of budgets and performance targets for each location and cost line.
- Launching new sites and serving as the brand representative in dealings with landlords and Market Organizers.
- Independently assessing potential opportunities for Markets.
- Managing, recruiting, and training staff.
- Safeguarding and enhancing the brand image.
- Efficiently managing teams across our retail estate.
- Forecasting sales, purchases, and team schedules.
- Ensuring the seamless operation of our retail systems.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar role, or a transition from big-box retail to a regional position.
- Strong compliance management skills, particularly in managing teams across multiple locations.
- A background in hospitality or retail, coupled with a deep passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
