You will be working closely with the Partner in all aspects of developing and implementing the offerings at the firm, including contributing to the strategic direction of the office, and recruitment, and leadership of the team.

  

Responsibilities

As an Audit Director, you will…

  • Work closely with the Partner to develop, and execute, a go-to-market plan for the office.
  • Prepare proposals for new work, attendance at marketing events, development of personal contacts and identification and development of opportunities with current clients.
  • Support a range of staff working on client engagements, ensuring that they are clear about functions required, properly trained and receive appropriate feedback.
  • Ensure clients receive an efficient and proactive service and client expectations are exceeded throughout the year.
  • Manage billing and margins.
  • Audit strategy and setting budgets – awareness of commercial aspects of the client’s businesses and impact on work.

  

Requirements

As an Audit Director, you will need…

  • Significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
  • Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME, and AIM listed clients.
  • Experience and appetite for business development activities.
  • Demonstratable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
