Are you a commercially minded, proactive forward thinking accountant looking to make a real difference in a business?

We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for specific divisions within our group.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or QBE professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is eager to make a tangible impact on business performance.

Offering a salary up to £60,000 with a car allowance, 25 days holiday, hybrid working plus many more benefits!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of consolidated group management accounts, providing insightful commentary and identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency.

  • Oversee the budgeting process for assigned divisions, offering constructive challenge and support to business partners to ensure financial targets are met.

  • Develop and refine financial forecasting models, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Create and evaluate capital expenditure business cases, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and operational priorities.

  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls, driving continuous improvements in processes and procedures.

  • Identify and mitigate operational or financial risks, providing strategic advice to minimise potential impacts.

  • Cultivate strong working relationships with business partners and their teams, promoting a collaborative approach to financial management.

  • Travel to regional sites as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience.

  • Proven track record in finance business partnering, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Microsoft NAV and Cognos is desirable.

  • Solid understanding of accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
