We’re partnering with a dynamic B2B organisation based in Farringdon to recruit a hands-on Interim Credit Controller for an initial 3-month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and is confident managing accounts using Sage 200.
Responsibilities:
As an Interim Credit Controller, you will…
Take full responsibility for chasing overdue invoices and reducing aged debt
Proactively manage the credit control inbox and customer ledger
Perform credit checks and monitor customer credit limits
Liaise with internal teams and clients to resolve billing queries
Allocate incoming payments and reconcile accounts accurately
Prepare regular aged debtor reports for finance leadership
Support month-end close with clean and accurate debtor data
Requirements:
As an Interim Credit Controller, you will need…
Solid credit control experience in a B2B setting
Proficiency in Sage 200 (essential)
Strong attention to detail and confident Excel skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Preferred Experience:
Previous interim or contract roles in similar finance teams
Experience improving or streamlining credit control workflows
Familiarity with working in professional services or B2B sectors
