Are you a nearly or newly qualified Management Accountant with a practice background and a passion for working across multiple entities in a high-growth, Private Equity-backed environment?
We’re partnering with an ambitious and rapidly scaling international manufacturing business based in Victoria, seeking a Management Accountant to join their growing Group Finance team. This role sits within a centralised head office function that’s doubled in size in the last 12 months—testament to both the business’s trajectory and commitment to best-in-class finance.
The ideal candidate will have a foundation in practice and thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in financial reporting, systems migrations, and the onboarding of new global entities—working proactively and independently, while knowing when to engage for guidance and input.
Salary on offer is up to £60,000, with bonus, benefits, and clear progression.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial reporting across multiple global entities
- General ledger management including manual journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany analysis
- Cashflow forecasting and variance reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Involvement in audit preparation and year-end schedules
- Exposure to project-based work: onboarding new entities, systems migrations (e.g. Xero), automating workflows, and process improvements
- Close collaboration with global teams in the US, EU, and New Zealand
Requirements:
- Nearly or newly qualified (ACCA, ACA), ideally with a practice background
- Experience managing multiple clients or entities
- Capable of working independently and managing upwards for input and alignment
- FX and non-UK financial knowledge preferred
- Manufacturing or professional services experience is beneficial
- Tech-savvy and confident learning new tools and systems
- Comfortable with occasional peaks in workload around reporting periods—with a team striving for sustainable balance
