Responsibilities:
As an Interim Financial Controller, you will…
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Deliver high-quality management accounts, board reporting, and financial analysis
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the finance team, maintaining strong controls and processes
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and banks
• Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives
Requirements:
As an Interim Financial Controller, you will need…
• A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally in an interim capacity
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP) and compliance
• A hands-on, commercially minded approach with the ability to lead and influence
• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms
