Are you a commercially driven qualified Head of Finance looking to drive transformation across a high growth organisation?
A widely known company based in Colchester are looking for a Head of Finance to work alongside the senior leadership to help facilitate growth, identify financial strategy and evolve the accounting function.
As a Head of Finance you will:
- Support business growth through sound financial systems, modelling, and risk management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, planning, and funding for new initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, payroll sign-off, and preparation of annual accounts.
- Present financial updates and recommendations to the Board and Committees.
- Manage internal controls, audits, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide management accounts, KPIs, and cash flow reports to inform decision-making.
- Oversee pensions, insurance, and investment strategies.
- Develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Act as Company Secretary and ensure all regulatory returns are submitted on time.
As a Head of Finance you will get:
- Salary of £60,000 - £65,000
- Hybrid Working 2/3 days on-site

As a Head of Finance you will need:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified accountant with 5+ years in senior finance roles.
- Strong leadership, strategic, and financial modelling skills.
- Proficient in finance systems and people management.
