We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our clients Finance Team. This role is pivotal in driving value, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful financial information to achieve both departmental and corporate objectives.
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, and colleagues across the company to encourage collaboration, ensure financial performance is well understood, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance function.
Key Purpose of the Role
- To create, deliver, and continually improve the service provided by the Finance Team, enabling the achievement of departmental and corporate objectives.
- To assist, wherever possible, in the achievement of those objectives by offering financial insight, challenge, and support.
- To aid and contribute to the smooth and effective running of the Group Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with budget holders and stakeholders across the Group, acting as a key advisor on financial performance.
- Provide insightful analysis and reporting to support decision-making, highlighting risks, opportunities, and efficiencies.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans in line with corporate strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems,and reporting.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Finance Department by ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable outputs.
- Assist the wider Finance Team in meeting departmental and b objectives, offering support and flexibility as required.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in a finance partnering role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player who is adaptable, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
