Based in the City, you’ll join a growing Accounts department where your time will be split between statutory accounts preparation and management accounts work. You’ll work in small teams under the supervision of Seniors and Partners, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to client-facing responsibilities. With full study support, mentorship from experienced practitioners, and a supportive team culture, this is an excellent platform to progress your career toward becoming a qualified accountant.


Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will…

• Prepare year-end and management accounts for a wide range of clients, including SMEs, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
• Produce draft accounts files with minimal queries, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Prepare VAT returns and assisting with ad hoc assignments as required
• Supervise and supporting junior staff when required, helping them develop their skills
• Work directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries and provide a high-quality service
• Manage workloads to meet deadlines within budgeted timescales


Requirements:
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will need…

• AAT Qualified, or ACCA Part-Qualified with desire to progress through
• Demonstrable experience preparing accounts, from prime records to final draft
• Experience with QuickBooks (essential); knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) desirable
