I am currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Essex. This is a site-based role with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities:

As a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will:
• Lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programmes across the workforce
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

As a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will need:
• NEBOSH
• Proven auditing experienceSolid experience in a HSE management role within manufacturing, engineering, construction or similar

  • • Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
    • A proactive, hands-on approach to improving safety culture and compliance

Benefits:

• £40,000 – £50,000 annual salary, depending on experience
