JOB-13908

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in AR/AP and a knack for juggling responsibilities across multiple entities?

We’re working with a dynamic, international business at the heart of its industry, currently undergoing a period of significant growth. They’re looking to add an Accounts Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support two of their UK-based entities – including a manufacturing operation and a treasury function.

With hybrid working (3 days in the office in Victoria), exposure to both AR and AP functions, and the opportunity to work closely with a high-performing finance team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in their accounting processes and ready to hit the ground running.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning accounts receivable tasks including customer reconciliations, aged debt reporting, and payment allocations
  • Taking responsibility for accounts payable – supplier invoice processing, statement reconciliations, and managing payment runs
  • Handling month-end duties including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting support
  • Collaborating with other finance and operational teams to ensure clean and compliant data
  • Contributing to ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate financial records for internal and external reporting

The ideal candidate:

  • Has solid experience in an AR/AP or finance assistant role
  • Is confident using accounting software
  • Is comfortable working across multiple entities or within a group structure
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Brings a positive and proactive mindset, able to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • AAT qualified or working towards it would be a plus

The package:

  • £40,000 - £45,000 base salary
  • 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office (Central London)
  • Collaborative, high-performing team environment
