They are seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of delivering high-quality management information, driving financial insight, and supporting operational decision-making across the organisation.
As a Management Accountant, you will:
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, accruals, prepayments, and insightful commentary.
- Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight, support cost control, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring robust assumptions and clear financial modelling.
- Maintain strong balance sheet controls, reconciliations, and oversight of financial processes.
- Support cashflow forecasting, working capital management, and scenario planning.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting quality, and strengthen financial understanding across the business.
As a Management Accountant, you will need:
- Proven experience within a management accounting or commercial finance role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to analyse data and present findings clearly.
- A solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial controls.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Part-qualified, fully qualified, or QBE candidates will all be considered.
