Are you a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys stepping into a business at a key point in its growth?
We’re working with a fast-growing, international professional services firm to appoint an experienced Financial Controller on a 6–9 month fixed term contract. The business operates across multiple jurisdictions and is preparing for its first external audit, creating a genuine opportunity to add value quickly.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with senior leadership and a Fractional Finance Director to strengthen controls, reporting and processes. Hybrid working is offered, with one day per week in the London office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the operational finance function, including management accounts, AP, AR, billing, cash flow and FP&A
- Owning month-end close and delivering timely, meaningful management information
- Supporting preparation for the first external audit
- Improving financial controls and processes across international entities
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight
- Managing and developing a small finance team
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Financial Controller (or equivalent) experience within a professional services environment
- Exposure to multi-entity and international structures
- Strong technical knowledge, including IFRS and FRS 102
- Audit experience and confidence working with senior stakeholders
- ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
