- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and sign-off.
- Supervise, support and review the work of junior team members.
- Communicate directly with clients, managing timelines, budgets and expectations.
- Review financial statements, assess internal controls and identify audit risks.
- Handle more complex audit areas including group audits, acquisitions and restructures.
Requirements:
As an Audit Senior, you will need…
- Previous experience working in audit within an accountancy practice.
- To be studying towards ACA / ACCA / CA, be qualified, or be qualified by experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards, including Companies Act requirements.
- Confidence leading audits, managing multiple deadlines and working directly with clients.
- The ability to identify risk, solve problems and escalate technical matters where needed.
