Are you a part-qualified or qualified accountant who has extensive management accounting experience looking to gain more exposure to various projects within a growing business?
A highly-established business who have gone through a fast period of change are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Latchingdon. This is a great opportunity to lead several projects, assist with year-end and work with a highly dynamic finance team.
What you will do:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance reports.
- Preparing 13 week Cash Flow Forecasts and monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting processes.
- Conducting cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Collaborating with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Accounting of financing / banking including intercompany financing; RCF; loans; FX gains/losses analysis
- Supply chain reporting and supplier analysis including tracking cost savings.
- Stock analysis and monitoring of obsolete, slow moving stock etc.
- Monitoring capitalised development spend with identification of risks and assist tax advisors with R&D claim
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in management accounting.
