Rutherford Briant is partnering with a dynamic, growth-focused business that is seeking a FP&A Analyst to join their team in Essex.
You will play a critical role in delivering robust financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across multiple entities.
This is a high-impact role where you will support decision-making at a senior level, ensuring accurate and insightful financial models to help manage performance, working capital, and cash flow.
As a FP&A Analyst you will:

Develop and maintain a robust, multi-currency balance sheet forecasting model to support currency exposure management.

Drive accurate net and free cashflow forecasts across multiple entities with a 95%+ accuracy rate.

Partner with treasury and business unit teams to support ongoing commercial decisions.

Manage the group’s working capital budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements in collaboration with business units.

Prepare and present clear management reports, financial dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

Support the development and tracking of KPIs and financial metrics.

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to drive continuous performance improvement.

Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.
As a FP&A Analyst you will need:

5+ years’ experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related area.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.

Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong financial modelling skills, especially multi-entity cashflow and balance sheet forecasting.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the business.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, with a proactive and process-driven approach.

Comfortable working with large datasets and complex financial structures.

High attention to detail with a collaborative and flexible attitude.
