Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join a growing business and take on more responsibilities?
We are partnered with a superb high growth business based near Maldon, looking for an Accounts Assistant to add to their rapidly growing team. This is a team that has grown from 1-10 within the last 12 months in a Group Head office function for an exciting global business.
Our client is offering a salary between £28,000 - £30,000, with the opportunity to progress your career, responsibilities and salary.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of both the Accounts Payable & Receivable process whilst ensuring supplying statements, timely payments and accurate invoicing
- Perform Bank & Cash Reconciliations daily across multiple accounts
- Monitor cash flow and assist in cash forecasting activities
- Post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and reconcile control accounts (e.g. VAT, payroll, accruals/prepayments)
- Prepare schedules and support documentation for external auditors
- Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements
Requirements:
- Proven transactional experience of at least three years
- Multi-currency experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
